Named with a Straight Face: CAMP (Contemporary Art Museum of the Presidio)

It appears as though a couple of San Francisco septagenarians missed a memo or two. In a very aptly titled post, “Clueless Heterosexuals Strike Again,” Curbed SF revealed today that Don and Doris Fischer have dubbed their museum–their 100,000 square foot, Gluckman Mayer designed museum–the Contemporary Museum of the Presidio, or CAMP. Cuz, you know, everybody knows that the Presidio is part of San Francisco, California, in the United States. And, like, nobody makes stereotypes about San Francisco’s LGBT population, right?

Allow me to repeat the closing line from my first post on the matter: “And we complain about being dismissed…”
