This Exhibition has entered “phase 2″ if you will; we began a new cycle of the piece in response to of Paul McCarthy’s Low Life, Slow Life, which opened at the Wattis (Institute for Contemporary Art) on Thursday evening. Not too much of note, actually: the usual CCA community is well aware of Tino’s work by this point, and acting thusly blasĂ©. Given that it was an opening for Paul McCarthy, foot traffic was heavy and swift— not as much gawking or panicked cries as in the past. One of my fellow bon vivants did sustain an injury, however: Andrew was booted squarely in the mug by, ironically enough, a performance artist who was doing his thing in the gallery as part of the show.
